Ah yes, the reason why you don't unshackle the AIs. Maybe the Atlantic Federation could have used a bit of foresight before having a single? Program keeping back their giant robots from reenacting Terminator.
Yeeeah, early generation Mobile Dolls like the Kestrel were... not exactly the best coded. It's a wonder that the AI Apocalypse didn't happen sooner.

You can tell how old I am because the first thing that popped into my mind was Johnny 5 screaming at the top of his speaker volume "NO DISASSEMBLE NO DISASSEMBLE!"
Godspeed Cuckoo, better you than me.
Ahhh, it's been way too long since I've thought of that movie. Hehehe, not entirely inaccurate.

Honestly, a Pilder isn't the worst comparison for the Super Mobile Boat. Though it can't truly fly in atmosphere. Yet.

From the way it's talked about, I get the impression that than Man Rodi was effectively the Sherman of its heyday. A fairly rugged and modable chassis.

From everything we know, the Rodi Frame was a somewhat beloved workhorse during the mid-to-late Calamity War, and there are still a ton of them left over.
They're good, hardy suits that like all Frame-Based Suits, are incredibly modable.

Oh no, Lafter's going to create 3 Haro's in a trench coat!!!! (technically 4 if we add Bunni)
Bunni's on the bottom, Movement is she.
Pres on the middle, carrying thee.
Arachne/ Cuckoo's pretending not to be, three Haro's/ AI's in a trenchcoat!!
Congratulations, you made me spit out my drink.

The Kiddos: "Robo Aunt!"
BUNNUI: "What! No…*Tsun Tsun noises."
Ashmal: "How did we even get here?"
Such is the life of serial Single Mom Cuckoo. Considering BUNNUI is basically cosplaying a Soviet Commissar…would that make her the Vodka Aunt?
Yes, yes it very much does. Vodka Aunt who is chronically unable to drink, and angry about it.

Here's hoping that Naze/Ashmal arrange a far more painful and embarrassing death for Nobliss than getting shot on the toilet
I can assure you that Nobliss is going to have a spectacularly more embarrassing and satisfying death than in canon. That was one of the first things we planned out.

I think the best part of having access to model is that Cuckoo can use data of it to make simulated versions of it for Tekkadan to train against, which will help when they encounter Brewers later.
Hilariously, the Brewers were the ones who sold that Man Rodi to Teiwaz in the first place. It's all coming full circle~

Were they going to do any retrofits with the trouts and the Moas?
Massgamer said:
What about other outdated units like the Moa and Trout? Will they get modernization as well?
Those are being retrofitted to an extent. The Trout are getting better armor and weapons, alongside joint replacements, and the Moa are getting their Beam Bazookas replaced with more conventional modern weaponry.
Pretty minor overall, but very useful.

Yuuuuup.
Remember. It wasn't because of a tech issue. It was because they were afraid of what they might unleash.
Faber the Builderman said:
Wait…will she have a Tri-Reactor setup(the original and the two extra from the Kestrel)? Can that even be done? Don't they have to be synced in pairs?
Yes, it can, since she's got a dedicated AI Program(PRES) to synch them up. Though, I should say, both of the Kestrel's Ahab Reactors are about equal to a quarter of a Gundam's output thanks to their lower quality, which means she's still not quite Gundam level output... but that's still a whole lot better than before.

So is Cuckoo not gonna tell the gang about the Hashmal on Mars? Feels like a pretty big and important thing, plus they have the resources to restore it now, as well as it restoring itself being viable
Not yet. It should be noted that Mars, as a whole, does not natively have the parts to repair the Hashmal. That's why it's having to repair itself with it's assemblers. Also, because it's under a massive Half-Metal Deposit, it would take a great deal of dedicated equipment to actually unearth the Mobile Armor.
So, that's gonna be saved for Season 2

You may not like it, but this is what the ideal MS Chassis looks like.
